ABOUT

Artūrs Oskars Mitrevics is a Latvian conductor and collaborative pianist with a broad scope of expertise. Equally at home conducting orchestral and choral music or accompanying Lieder and opera on the piano, he navigates a broad stylistic range, from classical repertoire to premieres of contemporary works.

In the 2024/2025 season, Mitrevics makes his debut at the Staatstheater Darmstadt and returns to conduct the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra RIGA. He continues to refine his craft through an intensive collaboration with Jorma Panula at the Panula Academy, alongside masterclasses with Johannes Schlaefli and Mark Heron. In the summer of 2025, he leads a performance of Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire as part of the Summer Night Chamber Music Festival at Zuzeum Art Centre.
